DARCI RAMIREZ

Right Now You Can See Me...

Rehearsing for the brand-new Ruth and Nathan Hale Theater's (The Ruth) production of The Play that Goes Wrong. Catch me building nonsense with some wonderful folks as Annie in the MWF Cast!

You'll Also Find Me Working On...

Some fun new projects that are in the works! You'll might catch me interviewing sports wives for a new verbatim theatre piece or workshopping my original one-hander, La Posadera for fundraiser performances.

I'll also be loitering in rehearsals for Wasatch Theatre Company's world-premier production of Saintmaker, to be staged at the Eccles' Rose Theater!

About The Work

Darci is a theatre-maker of contradiction. An actor/anthropologist, Guatemalan/Utahn, artist/utilitarian, raised on musical theatre and Star Trek: Next Generation - she values an interdisciplinary approach to the work.

Her most recent work focuses on recognizing the salient contrasts between the identities that we embody and celebrating the texture that these contradictions add to our communities.

(Man, what a mouthful!)

About Me

Darci Josephine Ramirez (she/her/hers +) was born and raised in central Utah. She received her BFA in Acting with a minor in Anthropology and is currently stationed in Utah. However, her work has taken her all across the West, and she's excited for the upcoming chapters of her career that take her across the country and beyond!
